Step inside factories, understand how they work and help them change.

About Bold Factory

At Bold Factory, we're building modern Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) software to help small and medium-sized factories move beyond paper and Excel.

Our product connects production planning, materials, inventory and shop-floor operations. We're based at Lanzadera in Valencia, and the software we build is already used by real companies to run their day-to-day operations.

The role

We're looking for an Account Management Intern who is studying engineering and passionate about industrial production. This role will give you real exposure to industrial environments and make you a key point of contact for our customers.

You'll help factories implement the software successfully, configure their processes and train their teams to ensure they adopt the platform.

This is a paid university internship. You must be enrolled at a university with which we can sign an internship agreement.

The challenge

Digitising a factory means changing how it plans and manages production. Every customer has its own workflows and bottlenecks, so a successful implementation requires understanding industrial operations and empathising with shop-floor users.

You'll learn to analyse different industrial processes, identify improvements and guide change management so factories get the most from our software without becoming stuck before the benefits become visible.

What you'll do

Consulting and implementation

You'll configure production, planning, warehouse, maintenance and quality processes in the systems used by our factory customers.

Account management and customer relationships

You'll act as the customer's main point of contact, training end users, answering their questions and supporting them through change.

Process engineering

You'll help companies improve their information flows and planning methods before and during the digital rollout.

Continuous product improvement and testing

You'll carry out validation tests, identify issues and work with our engineering and UX teams to suggest improvements based on real feedback from factories.

How we work

We're based at Lanzadera in Valencia. We work in a hybrid setup (three days in the office) with flexible hours so that classes, exams and your final degree or master's project are compatible with your learning and responsibilities at Bold.

What we're looking for

  • You're in the final year of a bachelor's or master's degree and enrolled at a university with which we can sign an internship agreement. This is a mandatory requirement.
  • English: a genuine B2 minimum. C1 or higher is preferred. You'll use it to read internal documentation and communicate with international customers. No formal language certificate is required.
  • You have a driving licence or are willing to obtain one in the next few months. You'll need it for occasional customer-site visits as you gain autonomy; at first, you'll always be accompanied.
  • You take initiative, ask for help when you need it, respond well to feedback and communicate clearly and confidently in Spanish, both in writing and in conversation.

Even better if…

  • You have previous experience in an industrial environment or customer management.
  • You're curious about how factories and their production processes work from the inside.
  • You're interested in MOM/MES systems, process engineering and industrial technology.
  • You can explain complex ideas to different roles within a factory.

No previous professional experience is required. We care about your interest in engineering, what you've tried to build and your willingness to keep learning.

What's in it for you

  • Accelerated learning. Visit different factories and analyse real industrial processes to gain a 360-degree view.
  • Mentoring and feedback. You'll work closely with Pablo, our CEO and co-founder, who currently leads Customer Success, and take on progressively greater challenges as your confidence grows.
  • Visible impact and real responsibility. Own meaningful pieces of work and see how they help customers. Your ideas and technical judgement will have room to grow alongside the product.
  • Flexibility around your studies. Organise your working hours with the team so you can make progress at Bold while keeping up with classes, exams and academic commitments.
  • The Lanzadera community. Learn how a technology startup grows from the inside, surrounded by founders and teams building their own companies.
  • Room to grow with us. We'd like this internship to be the first step towards a longer journey at Bold. If there's a strong mutual fit and you perform well, our intention is for you to continue growing as part of the team.

€800 per month as a study allowance.
