Help us bring modern software to the heart of industry.

About Bold Factory

At Bold Factory, we're building modern Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) software to help small and medium-sized factories move beyond paper and Excel.

Our product connects production planning, materials, inventory and shop-floor operations. We're based at Lanzadera in Valencia, and the software we build is already used by real companies to run their day-to-day operations.

The role

We're looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) intern to help us reach more companies as we grow.

Your main goal will be to connect with potential customers and book qualified demo meetings for our founders. You'll speak directly with prospects, take ownership of follow-ups and help us build our sales process from the ground up.

This is a paid university internship. You must be enrolled at a university with which we can sign an internship agreement.

The challenge

Getting a busy person at an industrial company to stop and talk to you isn't easy: they're not expecting you, they have little time and, the first time you speak, they have no reason to trust a call from someone they don't know. On top of that, every factory is different—no two conversations are alike, and a generic script doesn't work. The challenge is to quickly understand who you're talking to, adapt the message to their specific situation and earn their trust in the first few minutes.

That's the environment you'll be working in: we won't give you a script to recite from memory—that doesn't work with this type of customer—but the judgement to read each conversation as it unfolds. You won't be on your own: we'll coach you on how to approach each call, give you the product and industry context you need and, as you become more confident, you'll take on more responsibility.

What you'll do

Start conversations with cold leads

You'll actively call prospects who haven't responded to our email or LinkedIn campaigns, understand how they manage their operations and give them a reason to explore Bold.

Turn warm leads into demos

You'll respond to prospects who have already shown interest, keep the conversation moving, qualify the opportunity and book a product demo with our founders.

Help build our sales process

You'll keep track of conversations and next steps, follow up consistently and help improve our outreach based on what you learn from potential customers.

Grow into the full sales cycle

As you gain confidence, you'll join product demos, learn to lead them yourself and gradually take part in conversations that turn prospects into customers. We'll train and support you throughout that progression.

How we work

You'll work closely with Alex, our CRO and one of our founders, who currently leads sales. You'll receive training in our sales methodologies, frequent feedback and progressively more responsibility.

We're based at Lanzadera in Valencia. We work in a hybrid setup (three days in the office) with flexible hours, so you can balance your studies and enjoy working alongside the team.

Our goal is for you to get the most out of this internship. We'll support you with clear learning goals, the right context for your projects and regular reviews of your progress.

What we're looking for

  • You're in the final year of a bachelor's or master's degree and enrolled at a university with which we can sign an internship agreement. This is a mandatory requirement.
  • English: a genuine B2 minimum. C1 or higher is preferred. You'll use it to read internal documentation and communicate with international customers.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently in Spanish, both in writing and in conversation.
  • You're comfortable picking up the phone and starting conversations with people you haven't met.
  • You listen carefully, ask good questions and enjoy understanding what a potential customer needs.
  • You're proactive, organised and don't take it personally when someone says no—you see it as part of the job and move on to the next call.
  • You bring a commercial mindset, curiosity and a strong desire to learn.

Even better if…

  • You have previous experience in sales or at another startup.
  • You've used a CRM or sales prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Attio, Lusha, Neety/Enginy or similar.
  • You have experience in settings that involve public speaking, debating or persuasion.

No previous experience is required. We'll teach you our methodologies. Your attitude, communication skills and willingness to put them into practice matter most.

What's in it for you

  • Personal and professional growth. Build confidence and learn sales and communication skills that will be useful throughout your career.
  • A close look at startup growth. Work alongside the founders and see how a startup builds and scales its business as we prepare for our seed funding round.
  • The Lanzadera community. Spend time around founders and startup teams, learn from the people around you and become part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid work. Take ownership of your work and organise your schedule, with three days a week in the office at Lanzadera in Valencia.
  • Real responsibility and room to stay. You'll have your own processes and objectives. If there's a strong mutual fit and you perform well, our intention is for you to keep growing with us as part of the team.

€500–1,000 per month as a study allowance.
