Help us bring modern software to the heart of industry.
About Bold Factory
At Bold Factory, we're building modern Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM/MES) software that helps small and medium-sized industrial companies move beyond paper and Excel.
Our product connects production planning, materials, inventory and shop-floor operations. We're based at Lanzadera in Valencia, and the software we build is already used by real companies to run their day-to-day operations.
The role
We're looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern to help us reach more of these companies as we grow.
Your main goal will be to connect with potential customers and book qualified demo meetings for our founders. You'll speak directly with prospects, take ownership of follow-ups and help us build our sales process from the ground up.
This is a paid university internship. You must be enrolled at a university with which we can sign an internship agreement.
The challenge
Starting a conversation with a busy manufacturer takes curiosity, persistence and the confidence to pick up the phone. You'll learn how to understand their needs, explain where Bold can help and turn initial interest into a useful meeting.
We want someone with initiative who is ready to try things, learn from each conversation and help shape how we find our next customers.
What you'll do
Start conversations with cold leads
You'll actively call prospects who haven't responded to our email or LinkedIn campaigns, understand how they manage their operations and give them a reason to explore Bold.
Turn warm leads into demos
You'll respond to prospects who have already shown interest, keep the conversation moving, qualify the opportunity and book a product demo with our founders.
Help build our sales process
You'll keep track of conversations and next steps, follow up consistently and help improve our outreach based on what you learn from potential customers.
Grow into the full sales cycle
As you gain confidence, you'll join product demos, learn to lead them yourself and gradually take part in conversations that turn prospects into customers. We'll train and support you throughout that progression.
How we work
You'll work closely with our founders and receive training in our sales methodologies, regular feedback and progressively more responsibility.
We're based at Lanzadera in Valencia, with three days a week in the office and flexible working hours to collaborate and spend time together as a team.
We want this internship to be useful for your degree and your professional development. We will agree on clear learning goals, give you context for the work and review your progress regularly.
What we're looking for
- You're in the final year of a bachelor's or master's degree and enrolled at a university with which we can sign an internship agreement. This is a mandatory requirement.
- English: B2 minimum, C1+ preferred. You'll use English to read internal documentation and communicate with international customers.
- You communicate clearly and confidently in Spanish, both in writing and in conversation.
- You're comfortable picking up the phone and starting conversations with people you haven't met.
- You listen carefully, ask good questions and enjoy understanding what a potential customer needs.
- You're proactive, organised and willing to follow up when someone doesn't reply the first time.
- You bring a commercial mindset, curiosity and a strong desire to learn.
No previous experience is required. We'll teach you our methodologies. Your attitude, communication skills and willingness to put them into practice matter most.
What's in it for you
Personal and professional growth. Build confidence and learn sales and communication skills that will be useful throughout your career.
A close look at startup growth. Work alongside the founders and see how a startup builds and scales its business as we prepare for our seed funding round.
The Lanzadera community. Spend time around founders and startup teams, learn from the people around you and become part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
